I’m Romolo Gentili, current owner of Frantoio Gentili who carries on a centuries-old tradition in the production of oil. Growing up on bread and oil among the olive groves of the upper Lazio Tuscia, I learned the trade from my father and my grandfather, who transmitted to me the love for this land and its products from an early age. For 200 years we have been growing different varieties of olives in these rolling hills which, with passion and dedication, we transform into a delicious quality oil for you. Today the mill has changed a lot since that distant 1820, thanks above all to advances in technology, but each of our products carries with it the echo and knowledge of past generations. Today the Frantoio Gentili produces 4 different varieties of superior quality extra virgin olive oil: D.O.P. Canino (our finest oil), Verdone Organic and Fruity

Gentili is synonymous with tradition, quality and innovation. Today the Frantoio is in the hands of Romolo Gentili , the last descendant of a family of olive growers, who have handed down their tradition for 5 generations. In these two centuries of history, the values of traditional craftsmanship, respect for the environment and care for the raw materials used have remained unchanged, while technology and new knowledge have given an innovative impetus to production, currently appreciated by all our customers. The love for this land and the passion for oil inherited from their ancestors make today Frantoio Gentili , a garrison of undisputed quality among the hills of Alta Tuscia Laziale .

The Frantoio Gentili , in these 200 years of history has grown a lot but has never given up on its artisan tradition which has refined over time, giving increasing priority to the quality of the raw material used and to the manufacturing process.

The processed olives are the result of a careful selection, for the production of our extra virgin olive oil, which guarantees the best quality standards due above all to this extraordinary land. Once the olives have been harvested, using artisanal and non-invasive techniques, our oil is produced within 24 hours to maintain the quality and beneficial properties of the olives unaltered. The olive processing process is powered by a zero-emission photovoltaic system , a sign of a marked environmental sensitivity and ecological sustainability of the production that Romolo proudly claims. The production chain of Gentili oil includes 6 different processing stages: washing, pressing, kneading, pressing, separation and storage.
