Our Olive Mill

The area that hosts Frantoio Gentili is particularly suited to olive cultivation thanks to a combination of climatic, geological, and historical factors. Farnese, the village where the mill is located, sits in a hilly zone of the province of Viterbo, in the heart of Tuscia, a region historically renowned for olive growing. The history of olive cultivation in Tuscia dates back to the Etruscan era, when the ancient inhabitants of the region were already growing olives and producing oil. Farnese
